What is an EPUB?

An EPUB is an open e-book standard set by the International Digital Publishing Forum. It is based on web technologies allowing for flexible and complex content.
How do I view an EPUB on an:
- iPad?
  
  We recommend running our EPUBs through the Apple iBooks app. We also recommend updating the version of iBooks installed on your iPad to 3.1+ via the Apple App store.
  
  Once purchased it may take a few moments to download the EPUB file to your iPad. When prompted please select 'Open in iBooks'.
  
  Please use the default iPad Safari browser (not Chrome or other) for the download.
- Computer?
  
  We recommend using Google Chrome in conjunction with the Readium web app.
  
  These will work with both Microsoft Windows and Apple OSX operating systems.
- Android?
  
  As the EPUB format is a relatively new standard the number of readers available for Android devices is limited. As the technology grows and matures the number of competent EPUB readers will also grow.
- Are Pixelbook EPUBs DRM free?
  
  Yes. We have no plans to incorporate DRM in any of our ebooks.
